Where to look

I like Alan Watts, the serenity of spirituality and I am strongly influenced by Zen. And I feel humanity must clarify its reality to establish the truth, of us as identity being a projected part of the whole self or whole body in creation, in reality.

Our here and now, and our self are witnessed. Our self, our experience of notion and sense including our here and now, the conscious and the witness, as well as our deeper being, are projected parts of our whole – created and placed by the whole self, whole being or whole body from his or her nervous system. The whole body is alive in creation, present in the present, solid in gravity, and amongst other whole entities on Earth. We tend to identify with our self and our reality of experience, in isolation from a possible relation with our whole. In our actuality, inclusive of our witness, we may relate with the whole self, who does not appear or “show himself” in our projected reality or in front of the witness.

Yes, we as the self or identity “seek perfection”, but it is the whole body or whole self who is complete in creation and projects our all, our isolation from as well as our relation with our whole. With integrated parts, he or she may be perfect as well in his or her godliness in creation.

A similar thought to that seen in the last two posts, but this time from the Western tradition, showing a corresponding understanding of the need to stay in the present moment and not in some thought about how an ideal life or an ideal day should be.

You seek perfection, but it lies in everything that happens to you.

Setbacks, actions and impulses  are the mysteries under which God reveals himself to you.

He will never show himself in the shape of that exalted image to which you are attracted to.

Jean Pierre de Caussade, 1675 – 1751, a French jesuit,  whose ideas Alan Watts compared to ones found in Zen Buddhism.

Have you ever wondered if we actually exist ? What are we ? Are we the self or are we more what we experience ? We know we are conscious, and aware of our self, others and the things that are witnessed ? What about our deeper being ?

I understand that they are parts of our reality. Our self-s and our worlds, outside and within, in our knowing, experiencing and being – they all exist, as “projection”.

Let me explain, our reality is projection. It is created and placed by a whole being, projected through his or her nervous system. All that we are, and all that we may experience and be, in our reality, is projection. We exist, and the world we experience exists, as projected actuality. In contrast, the whole body is reality. He or she projects our reality as a part. The whole body is the whole self and the whole being – alive in creation, solid in gravity, present in the present, who is of reality and in reality, amongst other whole entities on Earth.

So : the whole body is in and of reality; our reality is projection, a projected part of the whole body.

And what does that mean ? Being a part of a whole body in reality ? Is it for us then, to become the whole body or reach reality ? I suspect we will always be a projected part, but as a part shouldn’t we relate with our whole ? – be affected, touched by reality who is the whole self. What is there to fear or doubt if it is the whole self ? Indeed you may ask where is reality, the whole being who “must be” there ? Can you think about a relation with the whole self in reality, who encompasses your all. Let me introduce some steps towards this possibility.

In the video “hc turned”, I showed “where” the outside comes around the right, across the front and tucks back, and “where” we come across from the inside to impress on the world out there. The hc turned, “I’m it” and “that’s the wot”.cntd Router wot j

We explore further now, our projected actuality : there’s the wot, our line-up with and facing the world we can determine, the self having an experience through to the back, and the witness behind. The depths of our reality are laid out in space. As we settle in our actuality, we relate with the whole body, as a projected part.

From identified with what you experience, in your line-up as if blinkered, you will probably notice the immediate spaces around you. The projected parts of your reality float in their actuality, and you can further orientate in space and with the whole body. Notice how you and your reality of experience and being, extend and open, in different ways, in different directions. Our symmetry is a swirl beyond where we keep to and hold our “here and now” world of words and what we sense. But there’s also our feeling and being. You will find the core a useful reference for the solid whole body. Also consider your breath – the sense of your breath, from which to regard the whole body, who is of real breath, in reality.

Also, if it happens to be so, you may notice being centred on the right of the whole body. Your actuality, of the world you experience and your self, centred to the right in relation with the whole body. I have come to understand it in terms of the whole body, the nervous system and the organs, and the dramatic changes of birth and other shock that leaves its wake through the body.

First and foremost however, it is where ever it happens to be,our actuality, but in relation with the whole body. It is where our reality, of our self and the world, is placed; where we are, where our actuality is. It is not about some thing, what it is or why, that depend on perspective and our perception, reckoning, understanding and knowing. It is “the where” of it, “there-ness”. It is where our reality is “taking place”, being and unfolding, becoming. With our own actuality, there is no reflecting, observing, or distancing to consider – we are it and simply there. But because our actuality is projection we may furthermore, refer to a whole self who projects us.

Normally, we are identified with our self and what we sense and know. We can lock in and hold to the unfolding symmetry of our floating reality. We can also stop and capture ourselves in space, and, in thus establishing our actuality, relate with the whole being, who “must be there”, in reality.

It starts from where we end up : the wot, our line-up with and facing the wot, the self having an experience through to the back, and the witness behind. There’s our deeper being through deeper realms – we open and extend, different ways in different directions. The “where” of our all, our actuality “there”, is related with the whole body who “must be there”.

I have tried to introduce our projected actuality and something of its relation with the whole body. It comes of an “orientation” of our reality as projection, in space and with the whole body.

I plan to further present Gendo and Orientation, their orientation and methods, to capture the hc and introduce reality.

Have you ever wondered if we actually exist ? What are we ? Are we the self or are we more what we experience? We know we are conscious, and aware of things that are witnessed. What about our deeper being ?

They are all parts of our reality. And they exist, but as projection.

Our reality is created and placed by a whole being, projected through his or her nervous system. Beyond all that we are and may experience, our reality is projection – we exist as projected actuality.

The whole body is the whole self and whole being, alive in creation, solid in gravity, present in the present, amongst other whole entities. This is reality.

Please remember this; our reality is a projected part of the whole body in reality.

In my previous short video the “hc turned”, I showed how the outside comes around the right, across the front and tucks back, and how we come across from the inside to impress on the world out there. The hc turned.

Let’s now step further into our projected actuality. There’s the wot, our line-up with and facing the wot, the self having an experience, through to our witness. The depths of our reality are laid out in space and in relation with the whole body, it is centred on his or her right. It happens to be where our reality, of our self and what we experience is placed.

It is where we are projected, where our actuality is. Not about what it is or why, the answers to which depend on perspective, perception, context and world views. We can question what we experience, but in our own actuality there can be no reflecting, observing, or distancing to consider – we are it and simply there.

However, we can stop and capture ourselves in space and, in thus establishing our actuality, relate with our whole being, who “must be there” in and of reality.
So let me repeat, the wot, our line-up with and facing the wot, the self having an experience and through to our witness, captured where they are in space, and in relation with the whole body, centred right.

With these videos I hope to take you to your actuality as projection, and through this find your relation with the whole body.

Do we actually exist ?

Have you thought about whether you actually exist ?

In general terms, we need to distinguish the whole body and “reality” from “our reality”, the identity or self having experiences and what it experiences. What has been termed the phenomenal world, that which appears to the senses, is what we as an identity think we see and sense. It is created and placed by the whole body through his or her nervous system – the whole body has the eyes and other sense organs to sense. We as identity and what we may think are also projected parts of a whole being to whom we belong as his or her product. In this sense I use the word projection viz our reality, including our self, is projected by a whole being in reality. We exist in projection.

The whole body exists in and of reality that is apparently of space, time, matter in and of gravity, next to other whole beings etc, and the whole body projects from reality our consciousness, self, mind, our sense and what we sense, our knowing and what we know, our feeling and what we feel, our being and our experience of others’ being and all else that we may be and all that we may experience.  Our projected reality includes our sense of the here and now; our here and now is a projected part of the whole body present in the present.

It is the only sensible way of addressing, I think for once and for all, the mind matter issue. The reality of mind is a projected part of the whole body in reality. We can reduce all human realities to experience, and all human experience, existence and being to projection. Furthermore, projection allows for our reality to be associated or related with the whole body alive in and of reality.

I envisage an integrated whole-ness or complete-ness of a whole being, with parts integrated as projected parts. It means for us as an identity to be related with our whole rather than isolated, in the usual exclusive identification with what we experience, and the whole body to be aligned in gravity, with a level brain and an extended vertical spine, rather than compromised from this in his or her commitment to us even as we identify with what it experiences (our identity is an “it”, “who” is for the whole self) in denial, ignorance or simply putting aside of the whole body.

The self itself is an uncertain entity – who or what sees, thinks it sees, thinks is thinking and typing this ? Beyond our notion and sense of our own self, is what I consider our actuality.

Phenomenologists detach from the ongoing, determining identification with what we experience and recognise, the conscious and its intentionality, the experience itself and, for some, a deeper being (da sein). I would add the witness with which these are recognised or witnessed, and by which we as identity are aware ie, we are aware of what the witness witnesses. With the inclusion of the witness we reach what I call the “construct”, within which the phenomena of our having an experience occur and phenomenological reduction possible. “Constructology” however, is not or cannot be reductionist for it includes the witness, and so with it we may break through the quantum paradigm of “the observer makes a difference”, as well as bridge the realities of mind and matter, or our reality of projection and realty.

The actuality of our reality is projection. We, as the self or identity, may be in the experience, having an experience, the conscious, witness, or deeper being, but the self as actuality is the disassociation and the void or emptiness between that include the various aspects. We have our experience through this disassociation, and through this our actuality that is projection, we as a part may relate with the whole self who projects it.

“Projected actuality” :
the inside, middle and outside bodies and the levels cognitive, emotive and somatic.

In this video, I’d like to introduce our actuality.

Some question whether we actually exist. What are we? Our self, what we experience, the conscious, there’s a witness, our deeper being – they exist as part of a whole being in reality. Our reality is created and placed, projected by the whole body in reality through his or her nervous system. Beyond the notion and sense of what we are and what we experience, what we normally call reality, our reality is projection or projected actuality.

In my previous short video the “hc turned”, I showed how the outside comes around the right, across the front and tucks back, and how we come across from the inside to impress on the world out there. The hc turned.

The wot, our line-up with and facing the wot, and through to our witness, we are centred to the right of the whole body. It happens to be where our reality, of our self and what we experience, outside and within, is placed.

I feel I’m crossing a precipice in demonstrating this openly because, I’m not sure who else has recognised this, and as far as I know, it has not been openly pointed out. However, those that can loosen their line-up with their symmetry and settle broadly to relate with their whole body, seem invariably to be centred on the right, as is my case. The few that openly proclaim “it’s true, you can tell it’s true” are perhaps innocent of the issues of certainty (or uncertainty) and realities. I hope you can find a response, to you being an actuality and to being a part of a whole being.

As I have said, it is where our actuality happens to be, and not about what it is or why, the answers to which depend on perspective, perception, context and world views. They apply to our notion and sense of what we experience, but not to our own actuality where there can be no reflecting, observing, or distancing to consider – we are it and simply there.

However, we may stop and capture ourselves in space and, in thus establishing our actuality, relate with our whole being, who “must be there” in and of reality.

__________________________

You may recognise some of the bodies or shapes of our projected actuality. They float inside, middle and outside, centred to the right of the whole body.

from behind

from behind

“The conscious” reigns from above on the inside, as if to shed light on our reality; “the mind’s spread” dips in on the other side, reaches over to the outside, comes back to and loops back on the other side, and includes “the identity” on the inside with “the breath”, “the mouth” and “the body sense from spine”, and in the middle centred right “the facing” and “the line-up” with the wot; and I call the body on the outside “the floating erect protozoa”.

Do not let these labels or images detract from what they indicate and represent – our actuality, the shapes they take, and where they are in relation with the whole body.

As we relate, in our actuality, with the whole body and become more of a part, our inside, middle and outside aspects, unravel and extend through cognitive, emotive and somatic levels, that correspond to our knowing, feeling and being.

To facilitate this process, of relating with the whole body and becoming more of a part, introduce a horizontal “spread”, across the middle centred right, to the lower part, underside and underneath of our projected float. Furthermore, extend vertical axes to the inner, middle and outer aspects of your actuality.

We are drawn forwards and up by our identification with the world out in front. Gathered underneath in our centring to the right, we line-up with the world in our head; against the inner, our middle and outer aspects curve forwards according to the turn; and we fold in our vertical extent, again towards the front.

Together with the horizontal spread, the vertical axes pop open and taught our actuality, as when an umbrella is opened and the ribs makes it taught. Because he or she is committed to us in projecting our situation, when we extend, the whole body can extend as well.

And our actuality extends behind – through “emptiness“, towards the witness, away from the world we experience that seem tangible and direct, but is in fact projection projected by our whole. The witness is in a transcendent place, a disassociated state at the back of our actuality, displaced from our sense of self and what we experience.

Before you get too mesmerised or taken by subsequent experiences, refer to the whole body. The core is a useful reference for the solid whole body. Your sense of breath can also be used, to refer to the whole body who “must be” breathing in reality. The core and our breath – not to be corrective with, or attempt to become the whole self, but to relate with the whole body, as a part from within our actuality.

We are “emptiness” in our actuality, a disassociated void through which we are having an experience; the whole body is “Nothingness”, an absence in our projected reality. Our association with the whole body must be indirect and contemplative.

from behind

from behind

From where we face and line-up with the wot in the middle centred right, our actuality extends behind to “head on a platter” and under to “head on a skewer” at the cognitive or knowing level, then “bust” and “breast” in the emotive or feeling level, and “torso” through the lower ribs to the area of the liver for the somatic level of being.

The middle body is our sense of being in the world. As we extend from “bust” to “breast”, we have our sense of arm pits, flanks with “torso”, and waist to the left and right of the deeper middle body. The middle body is projected through and displaced to the right side of the real solid body, so that the left side of the middle body is buried within the confines of the whole body, and its right side placed just outside of the real whole body.

The outer and inner aspects of our actuality also extend, to a deeper sense of the world and to a deeper extent of an inner self. The breath settles deeper with the middle body’s extent, the swallow more with the inner aspects. We remain centred to the right in our association with the projected world out there.

Many are familiar today, with the practice of Mindfulness that originates from a Buddhist meditative tradition and emphasises staying in the here and now, with the observance of your most immediate experiences. Here, use your sense of the breath, swallow, your observance of your mind, and refer to the whole body who in reality is breathing, swallowing, walking etc. Our being in the here and now can be used to relate with the whole body who is in the present, on Earth in creation, in reality.

Recognition

Beautiful and clear
recognition by who’s most near
the silent presence who is always there.

Most dear yet his/her subtle-ness
indeed absence from our reality
the whole self in reality
means we draw other things we think we touch and see near
depend on those actually obscure.

Whole beings exist next your dear
whole self your obscurity cure.

The exponential splat

There seems to be a consensus,
the end is upon us,
an exponential splat,
we cannot deny but,
in the seventies we saw that,
it would happen about now,
and now
it’s hard to see past the splat.

It seems to quicken as a tsunami wave does when nearing the shallows. Serious and fast, and we are.

I refer to the seventies and Alan Watts :

I think it is very helpful for understanding our self and reality and in stopping to connect with the universe and Nature, to discriminate our projected reality from reality, the self, ego, personality or sense and notion of self from whole self, whole being and whole body. That we may realise our self as a part of our whole and actualise our whole in his or her parts becoming integrated rather than isolated parts.
